My name is Anna.
I am a licenced mental health counselor. I received my master’s degree in counseling at Sioux Falls Seminary and completed post graduate studies in mental health counseling at the University of South Dakota.
What do I do? What can I offer?
I help adults and teens process deep emotions linked to depression and anxiety, identify trauma responses that promote cycles of distress, and assist with emotion regulation, support, and personal growth.
I help creatives and highly sensitive people (HSP) create environments and lifestyles to understand, develop and optimize their unique strengths.
I help couples to create a greenhouse for their relationship. I teach them the art of being a couple by creating a deeper friendship, developing emotional intimacy, affection, affirmation, and improve functional patterns. I am a trained Emotion Focused & Gottman Method therapist.
I help clients to understand how nutrition, food choices, nature and movement can improve their mood and wellness. I am a certified integrative mental health provider.
I help client to develop a life cadance to promote work/life balance, internal peace and emotional wellness.
I help to support pastors, chaplains, spiritual directors and first responders through burn out, overwhelm and fatigue.
I value respect, kindness, empathy, compassion, grit, authenticity and responsibility.
I believe that we cannot avoid, escape or hide from life’s challenges – the only way out, is facing the storm, and walking through it — “Be Like the Bison.”
I enjoy backpacking, hiking, camping and kayaking.
I hope to have the opportunity to work together!
